CU - Slovakia

Catholic University in Ružomberok (CU) is a public university established in 2000. CU performs its activities especially in the areas of the humanities, historical, pedagogical, and social and health sciences, as well as in the areas of art, economics and management. Catholic University has been the member of International Federation of Catholic Universities since 2004. University has also been the member of Fédération des Universités Catholiques Européennes (FUCE) since 2007.

The university education at the Faculty of Education CUis based on the EuropeanCredit Transfer System, which guarantees compatibilitywith leading educational institutions and thusallows student mobility between universities through out the European Union. The Faculty of Education, at the Catholic University, offers all three levels of studies – Bc., Mgr. and PhD.At each level of education, students havean opportunityto choose subjects from the study program,according to their interests, from their own departmentand from other departments.
